Compliance & Hazardous Waste

Licensed, compliant, and fully documented.

Many transformers contain hazardous substances — most notably PCB-contaminated insulating oils and other regulated materials. Specialist disposal is non-negotiable, both for environmental compliance and to protect your business from regulatory liability.

OSS Transformer Removals operates in line with all relevant UK environmental regulations including the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and Hazardous Waste Regulations. We issue a full RAMS statement on every job and provide consignment notes and waste transfer documentation as standard.

05 / UK Coverage

Transformer removal services across the UK.

We are a nationwide contractor — not a regional one. From single-unit collections in central London to multi-site decommissioning programmes in the Highlands, our teams self-deliver across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland with our own plant, transport and waste-licensed disposal partners.

Whether you need a single oil-filled transformer collected from a substation in Cornwall or a rolling decommissioning programme across a UK-wide industrial estate portfolio, we mobilise the same accredited teams, the same RAMS process, and the same waste paperwork — every job, every postcode.
